Hi, I'm Nawar.

Nutritional Therapist, Psycho-neuroimmunologist / Somatic Practitioner in Training.

Hello!

My work sits at the intersection of cutting-edge science and deep human healing. I believe that understanding why your body is doing what it's doing hormonally, immunologically, neurologically, is the first step toward actually changing it. But knowledge alone isn't enough. Real transformation happens when the body feels safe enough to shift.

I work with people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or worn down by ongoing stress, and who want to feel more at home in their bodies again. My approach is gentle, body-first, and led by the nervous system. We move slowly, with care, and always at your pace.

My background spans nutritional therapy and naturopathic philosophy, alongside current postgraduate study in psychoneuroimmunology the science of how the mind, nervous system, and immune system function as one unified whole. These disciplines (M.Sc, ND, NT, BANT, CNHC) shape how I understand the deep connection between stress, the nervous system, and physical health.

Food, rest, and daily rhythms are always part of the picture but never approached rigidly. Where it feels supportive, I offer simple, food-based guidance to help build steadier energy and reduce stress. No supplements, no tracking, no rules. Everything is optional and responsive to you.

My goal is to help you feel more connected to your body, more resourced in your choices, and more empowered in your health. If this feels like a good fit, you're welcome to reach out.

My Educational Background

My Training

I trained as a Registered Nutritionist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London (2017), where I earned a qualification in Naturopathic Philosophy and completed clinical training. I later deepened my expertise through an MSc in Personalised Nutrition at CNELM, focusing on functional medicine, advanced lab testing, epigenetics, and personalised healthcare.

My training in bioregulatory medicine at the Biomedic Clinic in London expanded my understanding of how chronic stress, unresolved trauma, and dysregulated immune responses quietly shape our health — often long before conventional medicine would name them as problems.

I'm currently deepening my practice through studies in Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) the science of how the mind, nervous system, and immune system communicate as one — and Somatic Experiencing, a body-centred approach to healing trauma and chronic stress developed by Dr Peter Levine. Rather than reliving difficult experiences, Somatic Experiencing works by gently tracking and completing the body's natural survival responses releasing what has been held in the tissues, breath, and nervous system over time. Together, these fields are reshaping how I understand the root causes of hormonal disruption, gut dysfunction, immune dysregulation, and burnout.

My Approach

I don't separate the body from the mind, or the biochemistry from the biography. In practice, this means I'll look at your labs and your life — your cortisol patterns and your sleep, your gut markers and your stress history, your hormones and your nervous system's baseline sense of safety.

Sessions weave together functional nutrition, personalised testing, breath and somatic practices, and, where needed a deep dive into the patterns that have been running quietly in the background.

What working together is like

This work is for people who want to reconnect with themselves, and build a more grounded, empowered relationship with their own body.

Sessions are relaxed, supportive, and conversational. We begin with whatever feels most present: stress, fatigue, tension, shutdown, or a sense of disconnection. From there, we gently explore ways to support your nervous system building capacity, steadiness, and safety over time. There's no pressure to perform or get anything "right." Everything is optional, and you're always free to pause or shift direction. Over time, many people notice they feel less reactive, more grounded, and better able to meet life's challenges rather than simply pushing through.

In sessions, we might:

❋ The first session will involve an in-depth Health History (taking into account nutrition, sleep, medical history, diagnosis, symptoms, any medications, supplements youre currently on etc.)

❋ Practice simple ways to settle the nervous system that you can use day to day

❋ Notice patterns around energy, rest, and overwhelm

❋ Use gentle movement, rest, or breath to release held tension

❋ Explore how stress shows up in your body

❋ A Supportive and natural Space where you can let your guard down

❋ Bring in simple, food-based support when helpful, without rules or restriction

The tools I use:

    • Regular, nourishing meals to support blood sugar and emotional steadiness

    • Protein for neurotransmitter support and stable energy

    • Fods to support digestive ease and abundance in microbiome

    • Hydration as a core nervous system tool

    • I may add in supplements based on any lab testing

    • Food as nourishment, not control, no rules, no restriction

    • Gentle structure around eating for rhythm and safety

    • Reflection tools to explore patterns without judgment

    • Exploring internalised stress and early relational imprints

    • Boundaries: Supporting clients in reducing chronic over-giving or hypervigilance

    • Self-compassion practices: Reducing immune activation triggered by shame/stress

    • Expressive writing or verbal processing: Shown to modulate immune response

    • Reframing persistent stress narratives

    • Supporting circadian rhythms (light, darkness, consistent sleep/wake cycles)

    • Simple wind-down rituals to reduce evening cortisol

    • Building restorative rest into the day (not just at night)

    • Respecting natural ultradian rhythms (stress–recovery cycles)

    • Gently challenging the productivity–rest binary

    • Breathwork: extended exhale, gentle rhythmic breath

    • Somatic tracking of sensations, tension, and emotion

    • Grounding tools (touch, texture, orientation)

    • Gentle movement: rocking, swaying, fascia support

    • Co-regulation through safe, attuned relational space

    • Pausing, pacing, and adjusting to what feels tolerable

Beyond the clinc

I paint increasingly in digital form and find that creativity and science speak the same language to me: both are about paying close attention to what's really there.

I tend to my plants with the same care I bring to my practice. I host women's circles, supper clubs, and female health workshops because I believe that healing is rarely a solitary act. Shared experience is its own kind of medicine.

Science, mindfulness, and community are at the heart of everything I do.

A few words from clients

  • Ellen S

‘‘I can’t recommend Nawar enough. She helped me understand the causes to some of the symptoms I had been experiencing for years. I had seen a number of doctors for my acne, all of which prescribed really strong medication which gave me terrible side effects. Once I stopped with the medication, the acne came back so I knew something was wrong but I just didn’t know what. Three months after taking onboard Nawar’s dietary and supplementary recommendations, my acne finally cleared up and my sleep and energy levels improved significantly. I can’t thank her enough. She addressed the root causes of my problems rather than just the presenting symptoms. Nawar is open-minded and has a great approach to health and nutrition and I always felt safe with the recommendations she gave me. ‘‘

  • Emma White

''I genuinely do not know where to begin writing about how highly I recommend Nawar. Nawar and I met four years ago and since then she has helped me with life coaching, advising me on how best to combat my allergies, how to fix troubles with my ongoing stomach issues and most recently, at an incredible all female empowerment workshop that she was hosting. Nawar is such a caring, warm person who genuinely holds space for her patients. She has such a great energy and this makes me feel comfortable sharing my issues with her. The way that Nawar approaches her coaching and nutrition work is unlike anything I have experienced before. She looks at things from a totally new perspective to what I have experienced in the past. She uses techniques and exercises that allow patients to get to the root of their issues and come to realisations about what might be causing their issues, rather than forcing a “one size fits all” diagnosis and treatment.'' I couldn’t recommend Nawar’s service highly enough. Look no further!''

  • Rosa

‘"Nawar has been the key to incredible changes in my life. She is not only a practitioner, she is a friend. My body was under strain for quite a long time. Before I met Nawar, I visited so many doctors, specialists, took courses online, spoke to friends with similar medical history but no one could really help me in any way or even guide me in the right direction. From the moment I started the treatment with her, everything started to change. I knew I came to the right person and I was so RIGHT! I have made drastic changes in my life in the recent couple of years that without her support would have been impossible. She takes time to thoroughly understand your core being and your highest potential and the relationship with your current health issues to find the root cause of your pain. In the whole 32 years of my life, I have never been treated by someone so kind and caring as her. From her long and informative emails, the great exercises and tips on lifestyle changes, diet and ways to deal with stress to all the great supplements she has suggested, they are all so perfectly done. I have made an enormous improvement in my health and I could not be more thankful to this beautiful soul. She is a true physical, emotional and spiritual guide."

  • Marie Christine

‘‘I had some health issues and I wanted to discuss them and find sustainable solutions. I started working with Nawar after attending one of her workshops "Flow with your cycle".  I loved her approach, and I really trust her knowledge. What I liked the most is the fact that she focuses on "adding" food to feel better and not "removing". Also, she focuses a lot on the overall wellbeing, not only on the symptoms. She focuses on the person as a whole. I learned more about my body, and how to be gentle with it while keeping my health goals as a priority. I felt happier and more connected to myself with this approach. I reached great health results: I had headaches that were annoying me, with some food practices the headaches were reduced a lot. I also worked on regulating my cycle (I have PCOS and pretty irregular cycles)  it went really well and I understood how my food, movement, stress were affecting my cycle, so I can work on them to regulate it more. I recommend people who have health issues and want to be more aware of what's going on, to understand the root cause, to go to Nawar, I am sure that working with her will be incredible.’’

  • Celine Jaber

‘‘Meeting Nawar Kamona has been a game changer in my life. Growing up with hormonal imbalances, pcos and severe acne, i was used to having pills thrown at me and believing that they were the only cure. Nawar was the first to really take her time in getting to the root of my issues, and helped me see the link between my mind, my gut, my hormones and my skin. Little did I know, that her holistic approach and advice will not only help me overcome the specific things I went to her for, but were actually tools she equipped me with that continue to serve me in everyday life; And for that I am eternally grateful!’’

  • Deema

''Before I started my treatment with Nawar, I was suffering with digestive issues from acidity to bloatedness. I had a lot of skin imbalances like acne, scarring and very dry hands, as well as fungal overgrowth on my skin. I went to so many doctors and no one could help me with a solution. Nawar helped me find the source of the problem, and after doing almost 10 months treatments, I’m so happy to say that my acne and dry hands has fully calmed, my digestive problems are so much better that I can eat what I want without discomfort. She has supported me physically and emotionally along this healing journey, and that is so rare to find in a health practitioner. Whenever I have a problem, she is always there to help me and give me the necessary advice and treatment, which I can instantly see positive results from. I’m really happy that I began naturopathy with Nawar. I recommend her to anyone that is dealing with imbalances in their body. She really does a great job at finding the source of the issue and assigning an appropriate treatment''.

  • Mona

''Nawar treated my mother and I as friends rather than just patients. She made time for us and was very attentive to our concerns. Her diagnosis was on point and she was able to connect my symptoms to scientific causes through the stool test and invasive questionnaire. She took the time to derive a detailed, gradual and customized dietary plan accompanied with a selection of high quality supplements that helped fast track the results. The results were fantastic! I used to suffer from severe bloating and Nawar helped me control it by teaching me how to eat and what to eat as well as treated the necessary problems in my gut''.

Thank you for all your time and help, it was life-changing!''

  • Tony

''I came to Nawar after having spent many years going from one practitioner to another trying to cure my constant low energy and gut/bowel movements. After one consultation Nawar identified the root of my problem and within two months she cured me. Her thorough and careful follow up is uncommon, I have never met a practitioner that shows so much care and attention towards a patient. I believe she has healing powers and I am blessed to have met her. I’m forever grateful.''

  • Phill

'‘Nawar has made a huge difference to my health and well-being since working with her.  Having worked with a number of industry professionals, Nawar's knowledge and expertise on gut health sets her aside from her industry peers as her diagnosis and medicinal remedies made a huge difference to my gut, and in turn, day to day life.  Nawar is very personable and creates a genuine 'safe space' to share exactly what I am feeling which is imperative in getting to the 'bottom' (excuse the pun) of my problems.  Highly recommended!''

  • Nadeen

''I have always resorted to Nawar in regards to any physiological challenge I experienced related to my gut-health and other related health challenges. Using natural medicine, Nawar’s diagnostic method has impressively identified the root cause of what I was experiencing. Her healing plan tremendously helped me combat pyrosis, chronic fatigue and burnout, stress-related symptoms. Nawar has also helped improve my lifestyle in the context of nutrients intake, bone and gut strengthening and immunity. In addition to her enriched knowledge and profound experience in the field, Nawar is up to date with modern research and had consistently treated me in an ingenious and meticulous manner. Importantly, her professional approach in our sessions was very comforting and exceptionally mindful of the possible psychological and emotional challenges that one can face whilst being diagnosed and treated. I am very grateful to have been introduced to Nawar. She is definitely on my speed dial on my practitioner’s list!''

After years of suffering due to reproductive and general health issues, going to 10+ doctors, I was lucky to come across Nawar who showed me how everything in our body is connected. I can safely say that all the issues I was facing have been resolved, from chronic UTIs, Acne, Chronic Thrush and BV, fatigue, stress and digestive problems. Unlike traditional medicine, with alternative medicine you might not see an effect over night, but you are really solving the issue at the core and the most important thing is to be patient with yourself and educate yourself on what Nawar shares, to really understand how the body works. Nawar gave me the space to do things at my pace and answer all questions I had, while supporting me all along the way. I dont know what I would do without her! I could not recommend her more.

  • Hala

I can’t thank Nawar enough for the incredible impact she’s had on my health and well-being. When I first came to her, I was dealing with a wide range of symptoms and discomforts that no one had been able to resolve. Nawar helped me understand how different aspects of my lifestyle, diet, and overall habits were affecting my body, and she taught me how to use food, herbs, and supplements to support my health holistically. Three months later, I feel like a completely new person, with clearer skin, more energy, and a consistently better mood throughout the month.

What I valued most was Nawar’s dedication and attentiveness. She treats every patient with remarkable care, always responsive and ready to help with any new concerns. She not only improved my health but also taught me how to better connect my lifestyle to my well-being—knowledge I will carry with me forever. I cannot recommend her enough!
